The partnership starts with the installation of a new charging station for electric vehicles during the Women’s Open Mazzalveri Tournament and will continue with initiatives dedicated to promoting sport, inclusiveness and sustainability

Milan, 20 September 2021 – Begins with the Women’s Open Tournament dedicated to Gabriele Mazzalveri, finished on Saturday, the partnership between NHOA and Free2Move eSolutions with Tennis Club Lombardo, the oldest tennis club in Milan.

Founded in 1946, the Tennis Club Lombardo has been always characterized, apart from its long tradition, by a strong spirit of innovation and today, thanks to NHOA and Free2Move eSolutions, it opens its doors to the electric era to meet the increasingly urgent needs of sustainability in mobility.

NHOA is the international group that develops technologies to enable the global transition towards clean energy and sustainable mobility, and together with Free2Move eSolutions – the joint venture between Stellantis and NHOA dedicated to the technology for electric mobility – has installed a charging station inside the club that allows five electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles to charged simultaneously.

The collaboration between NHOA, Free2Move eSolutions and the Tennis Club Lombardo is not limited to the installation of the charging infrastructure: it will develop into a series of initiatives dedicated to encouraging environmental sustainability, and social inclusiveness through sport.

It is with this in mind that NHOA and Free2Move eSolutions have created the first edition of a prize that – within the framework of the Women’s Open Mazzalveri Tournament organized by the Tennis Club Lombardo – was awarded to the athlete under-16 who achieved the best placement in the competition. The first edition of this trophy was won by Lucrezia Nicolai, a young athlete from Oltrepò Tennis Academy.
