MARCO DI MAIO
Work Experience
Marco Di Maio is an international public affairs and government relations advisor, with a practice spanning corporate strategy, regulatory intelligence, and institutional positioning in Italy and across Europe. He also serves as Counsel at one of Italy’s leading independent law firms, where he advises multinational corporations and institutional clients on legislative monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and strategic affairs in sectors including energy, agri-food, defence, financial services, and artificial intelligence. And he is involved in golden power procedure and legislative matters.
From 2013 to 2022, Marco served as a Member of the Italian Parliament (Camera dei Deputati), sitting on the Finance Committee and the Constitutional Affairs Committee. Over nearly a decade in office, he contributed to landmark legislative processes on the energy transition, fiscal policy, corporate regulation, and public administration reform, developing a thorough command of the institutional dynamics shaping Italy’s regulatory and policy environment at both national and European level.
In the early 2000s Marco founded one of the first local online newspapers, which grew into one of the leading local online media platforms in central Italy. He directed the network for over a decade, combining editorial leadership with an early and sustained engagement in digital media and public communication.
Since January 2026, Marco has served as a non-executive director of the boards of NHOA Energy and Atlante, both part of the TCC Group Holdings.
Education
Marco holds a secondary school diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Relations.

Marco is married to Chiara and is the proud father of Pietro.
