The best three Goga Sci Club’s athletes distinguished themselves for scholastic and sport commitment

Milan, 16 May 2022 – The award ceremony for the first edition of the “Goga new talents” scholarship was held on Saturday 14 May during the Goga Sci Club’s end-of-season party at the presence of NHOA Group CEO Carlalberto Guglielminotti.

The scholarship, sponsored by NHOA Energy and Free2move eSolutions, was granted to three young athletes who distinguished themselves for exceptional scholastic and sporting commitment and it’s part of the Group’s BeyondSport ESG initiative that aims at supporting the social role of sport as an essential tool to learn fundamental life principles and core values.

During the event, the Goga Sci Club recalled the fundamental stages of an intense season full of satisfactions: the difficulties caused by the almost total absence of snowfalls were rewarded by the team results. The technical growth of the young athletes was confirmed by the results obtained in all the categories.

In a nutshell:

  • 93 children and teenagers, aged 5 to 17, participated in competitive and pre-competitive activities of the ski club
  • 45 days averagely spent on skis for each athlete
  • 17 placings in the top 5 in the Junior (“Pulcini”) categories (2010-2013)
  • 18 placements in the top 5 in the Children category (2006-2009)
  • 13 youngsters qualified for the Central Alps regional championships
  • 2 athletes qualified for the Italian championships
  • 2 provincial FISI circuit competitions organized by the sky club
  • GOGA athletes enrolled in 45 official FISI competitions

Among the other Goga ski club’s initiatives sponsored by NHOA Energy and Free2move eSolutions, it is noteworthy mentioning “Goga FIRST CURVES” that allowed over 70 children aged 6 to 8 to practice ski thanks to a series of benefits and discounts. Goga Sci Club aims in fact to promote skiing by bringing the highest number of children on the ski slopes with budget solutions for families and to guarantee a high-level training to those who decide to take the competitive career within the club.

We are proud to support Goga Sci Club because over the years it has allowed children to flourish their human and sport inclination: investing in human capital is in fact increasingly vital to nurture talents.
