Work Experience
Vincenzo Maugeri is a seasoned energy industry executive with over two decades of experience in project management, engineering, and operations within the power and energy sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Global Operations at NHOA Energy, Vincenzo joined the company in 2017, then known as ENGIE Eps, with the mission of strengthening the Project Management department to support the company’s ambitious growth targets. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in overseeing NHOA’s project portfolio, ensuring efficient project execution, construction, logistics, and quality control across multiple large-scale energy storage systems and microgrid projects. As a key member of the Executive Committee since 2019, Vincenzo has been responsible for developing strategies supporting and implementing project management framework, risk management and HSEQ objectives, driving the company’s operational success.
Before joining NHOA Energy, Vincenzo has held various leadership positions in the management and engineering of large renewable and conventional power plant projects, with capacities of up to 6000 MW. His extensive experience also includes managing international competitive bids under financial institutions such as the World Bank and JICA, with bid values up to $4 billion.
Family & Free Time
Mr. Maugeri is married to Cecilia and a proud father of two daughters Caterina and Beatrice. He is a sport and wine enthusiast and loves spending time in the nature and travelling with his family.
Education
Mr. Maugeri holds an executive Master in Business Administration (MBA) cum laude from the Politecnico di Milano School of Management (2018), a Master’s Degree cum laude in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2006), and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2004).
